Context

Individuals with dietary restrictions encounter significant challenges in managing their diets. The FDA approached us to explore innovative uses of nutrition labels, leading to Nutrics' development. By utilizing NFC for real-time communication, barcode scanning for product safety, and personalized recipe suggestions, Nutrics integrates dietary management with personal and social activities, enhancing safety and dietary compliance while reducing isolation.a

Goal

The goal of Nutrics is to reduce the challenges faced by those with dietary restrictions, such as safe dining options, effective communication of dietary needs, and simplified grocery shopping and meal planning.

Objective

Ease daily life for individuals with dietary restrictions, providing a centralized platform for managing dietary needs and tracking nutritional intake.
